HPS NRC rule question/comment - Liebchen - 03-01-2011 Can someone please explain this sentence, found in the Melee Modifiers section in the NRC rules? It sounds like self-contradictory gibberish to me: • Routed and Isolated units have their defending strength divided by 2. However, units which are Routed and Isolated defend with a strength of 0. It sounds like self-contradictory gibberish to me: I imagine it might be that it ought to read: Routed or Isolated units have their defending strength divided by 2. However, units which are both Routed and Isolated defend with a strength of 0. But I will have a look and see what I can find out on my own, and assuming it might be nothing at all -will go get a company man to come in and give you an answer, Liebchen (and mind you I know enough German to feel ... well, funny when writing that line ). RE: HPS NRC rule question/comment - rahamy - 03-01-2011 An example would be if a defending unit consisted of solely routed & isolated units and it was meleeded they would automatically loose. RE: HPS NRC rule question/comment - agmoss99 - 03-02-2011 That is certainly how it should have been phrased. Routed Isolated units can indeed be eliminated in melee at no cost to an attacker, except if Isolation Rule is left unchecked. |
