fun game but the germans cannot win this against a good soviet player. The soviet player can get a major victory without ever venturing near kharkov proper. By getting a major without going near K, the soviet player will never, ever trigger the release of the german tigers/and MKivs. A major victory can be obtained by the russian when he takes the 2 100 pt vps and the 2 250s-all well beyond the LOS of the fixed panzers. Those fixed panzers need not even be in the game because so sane soviet player will get within LOS of them. Those guys need to be unfixed on the second day of the scenario in order to give the soviets a challenge. There is no chance of the germans getting a win-a draw should be considered a major moral victory. But with the best prospects for the germans getting a draw, the game in our opinion, is unbalanced.

I challenge anyone to play hoff with him as the soviets Big Grin and you as the germans. (send me your challenges and Illl get keith to play you :cool2: to prove our point) Still it is a good game and I almost pulled out a draw but hoff took the 2 250s on the last turn. If he hadnt, I would have had a draw, but thats the best that can be done as the germans
