Off topic - Downloading Scenarios - ScoutsOut - 03-28-2011

Help. Greetings all. If someone would, please explain to me how to download the scenarios for CS. All I get are individual files. It's been a long time since I've done this and I simply can't remember. Thanks...Also, up for a game if anyone intrested.Anything but Rising Sun. You would need to

1) ... download the compresesed zip archive from the scenario database to a location in your disk

2) ...then, extract all the individual files from zip archive into the respective game folder. If you downloaded a West Front scenario, the files would go to \Matrix Games\John Tiller's Campaign Series\West Front folder.

3) ...and that's it!

That's what I thougt. However, when I download the zip file, all I get are four files. Appx 117kbs. If someone wants to spend some time helping out a tired, broken down old Scout, I sure would appreciate it...Thanks...TJ...Scouts Out...

Those are propably the files you should save to West Front or East Front folder.

Let me walk you through this with an example.

1) Open the scenario database for Campaign Series West Front scenarios
2) Download the zip file for the first game in the listing, "The Monster"
3) As a result, you get a file called "Oberhoffen.zip"
4) This zip file includes four files Oberhoffen.scn, Oberhoffen.map, Oberhoffen.bmp, Oberhoffen.org
5) Place these four files to West Front folder, under John Tiller Campaign Seris folder.
6) You should now have "The Monster" available when you start West Front

I hope this helps...

EDIT: I reread your original post. If what you are asking is how to download every and each scenario file in one go, I am afraid it is not possible. You need to download them one scenario at a time...
