A change to Recon - Aaron - 06-20-2011 Oh not again. Recon, can there be a change A mix between the way it is and the way partisans work. I would like to see an area search by recon units weather its spotted or not. What i mean is by hitting the spotting button i would like to see enemy units within a 4 hex radius weather the unit can see it or not. This portrays the unit actually sending smaller partys out to search the area. Two ways to go about it either manpower=number of hexes that can be search with spotting percentage being the same 1-99 men= 2 hexes 75% chance enemy units spotted 100-199 men=3 hexes 75% chance enemy units spotted 200+ men=4 hexes 75% chance enemy units spotted or manpower with hex search being the same= % of units that can be spotted 1-99 men=4 hexes 25% chance enemy units spotted 100-199 men=4 hexes 50% chance enemy units spotted 200+ men=4 hexes 75% chance enemy units spotted You also keep your recon spotting button the same but make it cost at least 51% of MP so you can perform spotting only once per turn.
