Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - Warhorse - 01-05-2012 Hey all, Everyone who has downloaded my mod, I've updated the files to be that of 1.04. Not every new unit, but tried to be as realistic as possible. Here are the files. EDIT: Had to adjust the ex-Japanese Infantry Guns to be able to indirect fire, you will need to re-download this update, my apologies, I'm not perfect!! Mike [attachment=3403] RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - Warhorse - 01-08-2012 Here is a file you will need for some of Huibs little gems, portrays higher elevations! Either unzip this into your MODS folder of Korean War and enter with JSGME, or unzip right into the Korean War folder. Mike [attachment=3404] RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - K K Rossokolski - 01-08-2012 Mike, this to me seems incomplete, as it only mentions 2D. I have downloaded, but no effect in 2d or 3d. RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - Warhorse - 01-08-2012 No, not incomplete Rod, you will only notice anything in maps utilizing levels over 12!! Huib has made a few, the program uses the same 3d tiles for all levels, only the 2d shows different shades. 1-12 are as they always were, but when some new maps are made using 13>, you will see them! Thanks! Mike RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - K K Rossokolski - 01-08-2012 Understood...I think. I can do with 12 for Kap'yong with a big delta. RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - Warhorse - 01-08-2012 It's kinda tricky, to do 13>, requiring first to make a line in the map open in Word, put all the keyboard characters on it, then open in the map editor to see where your numbers are. Then by hand enter first 18 level, then on down to 13, then save, fill in the rest of the levels as usual. I'll have to make a tutorial on it!! Mike RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - junk2drive - 01-09-2012 Inside the zip is a folder, Big hills2d. Do the files stay in this folder or should the files be extracted and overwrite the original files? RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - Warhorse - 01-09-2012 You can either leave the folder, put it in the Mods folder, and enter it via JSGME, or just extract the files into the Korean War folder and overwrite. I would just do the latter, but that's your choice!! Mike RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - Kool Kat - 01-14-2012 (01-05-2012, 09:35 AM)Warhorse Wrote: Hey all, Question - When you download and unzip the version 1.04 file... should your Korean Mod game version now read 1.04 or still 1.02? I performed the referenced operation... and when it was unzipping into the Korean Mod folder... it replaced approx 76 files? So, that is correct? RE: Update to 1.04 for Korean War Mod - Warhorse - 01-14-2012 Yes, when in the main game, in a scenario or what-not, clicking on the "About John Tillers~" should read 1.04 now. The update has 124 files in it, so not sure what 76 files would be??!! Might want to run it again just to be sure!! Is the game running correctly? Let me know if you need anything. Mike |
