Kudos to Jeff - Ozgur Budak - 07-13-2012

I wasnt part of the Falkland's development. I and Bill Havice have been playing falkland scenarios for some time. It is a great pleasure to see how Jeff grasped the nature of the conflict and put it into the SB system. Congratulations to Jeff and the playtesting crew for bringing such a quality piece of work.

Looks like I need to buy you (Ozgur) dinner too. Next time I am in Izmir, dinner's on me.

Jeff

Can I come?

I've mentioned this before that from a very peripheral glance, Falklands could be dismissed by folks who like some of the fancier aspects of combat, namely armor. At its core, Falklands is a really great game for infantry fighting. The landscape isn't an infantryman's friend in many ways, but it makes you work for it.

Good stuff. Glad to see that the game is getting some extended play.

Jeff or Alan comes to Izmir and I allow them paying dinner? No chance.
As Alan mentioned some conflicts are not that shiny but true lovers of the hobby will find amazing depth in titles such as Falklands War. In my third scenario as british I have been going through all problems the real fighting men had reported.

Well SB is not very elegant in simulating armored combat. So infantry fights are more than welcome.
