Minefield question - Fubar - 07-16-2012 Whats the difference between a penetrated minefield and a regular minefield? I still seem to suffer casualties with either! I have looked through the manual but cant find it mentioned anywhere. TTFN Matt RE: Minefield question - Ricky B - 07-16-2012 You may have to play around with it a bit, but with an engineer in a penetrated minefield, you can move units in travel mode through the minefield without an attack on it, as long as you don't go over the stacking limit. No engineer present you are attacked whatever the minefield status is. And the engineer must start the turn in the penetrated minefield - but I don't think it needs to be in mine removal mode to give benefits. Rick RE: Minefield question - Fubar - 07-16-2012 Many thanks for that mate, i been sat here pulling out what hair i have left trying to figure it out! TTFN RE: Minefield question - Ricky B - 07-16-2012 I have struggled with mines at times, along with bridges in my early days of playing. Good luck with them, if you lose a few men it isn't critical, but the time can be important, if lost to moving through a minefield. Rick RE: Minefield question - Mr Grumpy - 07-16-2012 I believe supply lines cannot be traced through a minefield until it is penetrated. |
