FWWC H &V Blankboxes - Compass Rose - 09-16-2012 The following is a collection of H & V Blankboxes I created to be used in the First World War Campaigns (FWWC) series. Attached below are original colored sets and Sepia colored sets. If used, the file names will be needed to be renamed properly for them to work in your game. Hope you like them. How and what do we do with these? jonny RE: FWWC H &V Blankboxes - Der Landser - 09-17-2012 Outstanding work Compass Rose! I'm a huge fan of well executed graphic mods for these games and these Blankboxes are some of the best I've seen. (09-16-2012, 01:31 PM)jonnymacbrown Wrote: Really nice work! How and what do we do with these? jonny Jonny, just unzip the BlankboxH and BlankboxV images of your choice and drop them into the F14 Info folder. If you want to save the original ones that came with the game, save them to another location before you drop the new ones in. How and what do we do with these? jonny The above images are to be used in place of the stock BlankboxH and BlankboxV files which are located in the "Info" folder which is found within the main "France '14" game folder. First make sure to rename the originals in case you decide that you want to use them in the future. Next, select one of the horizontal images located within the zip file(s) you downloaded and rename it BlankboxH. Now select one of the vertical images located within the zip file(s) you downloaded and rename it BlankboxV. Once you have finished the renaming of all four files (2 original and 2 new ones), add the two new ones into you France '14 "Info" folder. If you did things correctly, the next time you open up and start a F'14 scenario you should see the new images either horizontally along the bottom or top of your game map screen or vertically along the left or right of the game map depending on what your setting is for the "Hex Info Area" which is located in the "Settings" Drop-down Menu". If you have any problems, feel free to let me know. (09-17-2012, 12:00 AM)Der Landser Wrote: Outstanding work Compass Rose! RE: FWWC H &V Blankboxes - Compass Rose - 09-17-2012 As a bonus, I just added in H & V Terrain files which are available in tan, green, and sepia. These files are also located within the "Info" folder and will need to be renamed TerrainV or TerrainH before they will work within your game. As always, make sure to rename the originals before replacing. RE: FWWC H &V Blankboxes - Volcano Man - 09-17-2012 Very nice blank and terrain boxes!
