SP and Win7 easier to install - Weasel - 01-25-2013 Just read on Shrapnel that both version of SP can now be fully downloaded with all patches already applied, and they now play nice with Win7 too. One thing they stated was the versions were 5 and 6, I know WW2 is 5 but I didn't know MBT was up to 6. Not only has the installation routine been updated to take advantage of the newer operating system but both winSPWW2 and winSPMBT are now already patched up to versions 5.0 and 6.0 respectively. What this means is that no longer will new players have to install the games and then upgrade via a series of patches. Simply install the game and you are already good to go with the latest and greatest version. RE: SP and Win7 easier to install - Cross - 01-27-2013 Thanks for posting this Chris. It's described as a consolidation patch.
