Downloading A Custom Scenario - Pax25 - 05-10-2013 In order to download and a custom scenario, do I simply install all files in my East Front, West Front, or Rising Sun file? Or is there another sub-file where these go? Thanks. RE: Downloading A Custom Scenario - Warhorse - 05-10-2013 Nope, right into the appropriate game folder!! RE: Downloading A Custom Scenario - Herr Straße Laufer - 05-10-2013 You will notice that all scenario files are within the game folders? If you sort the folder, "by name", the scenario's files should be listed together in alpha order. Each scenario should have a ".scn", ".org" and ".map" file. If the designer created a picture to go along with it there will be a ".bmp" file. Also designers can sometimes add instructions that are contained in a separate "wordpad/notepad" document of the same name as the scenario. Ie. "EdS.bmp", "EdS.doc", "EdS.map", "EdS.org", and "EdS.scn". When I download files I usually zip them and then open the zip into the corresponding game folder. Hope that is what you want? HSL RE: Downloading A Custom Scenario - Pax25 - 05-11-2013 Thanks guys. That was easy enough. RE: Downloading A Custom Scenario - Warhorse - 05-11-2013 No problem, Ed, thanks for the extra details!! RE: Downloading A Custom Scenario - Herr Straße Laufer - 05-12-2013 I was not sure how computer literate or game familiar Pax might be. :dog: I know I needed as many details as I could get when I first started downloading custom scenarios. HSL RE: Downloading A Custom Scenario - Warhorse - 05-13-2013 Too true. I often forget my humble beginnings in both computer, and other various tasks, I'll try to be more detailed in the future!! |
