Looking for EF or WF Opponent! (Closed) - Kool Kat - 06-01-2013 Opponent found Gents: I have one slot open on my "dance card" for either an EF or WF opponent! Looking to play a medium (Complexity 5 - 7) size scenario. Side and optional rules are negotiable. Send an email to mikewest455 (at) gmail.com and let's get it on! RE: Looking for EF or WF Opponent! - Crossroads - 06-01-2013 Do you have EFFB installed? Now that I am back online I would like to give the revised **Delaying action at Ylimaa a go. Oct 1944 in Lapland, axis Germans vs allied Finns. Just regular units, nothing kinky going on there RE: Looking for EF or WF Opponent! - Kool Kat - 06-02-2013 (06-01-2013, 11:29 PM)Battle Kat Wrote: Do you have EFFB installed? Just regular units, nothing kinky going on there I don't have the mod installed, but willing to give it a go! Plz let me known where to locate the down load instructions. I am running around today, but will install later today! RE: Looking for EF or WF Opponent! - Crossroads - 06-02-2013 Great! I have the new patchlevel 1.35 just completed and will provide you with a pointer to it! Just give me a couple of hours to do so, running around a bit here as well :) RE: Looking for EF or WF Opponent! - Crossroads - 06-02-2013 OK, here it is (34 MB): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/82769465/__EF%20East%20Front%20-%20Forgotten%20Battles%20v.%201.35.zip The goal with the new 1.35 patchlevel is to be as non-intrusive as possible, so I am reverting to standard EF user interface instead of the Panzerblitz look used so far. Here are the changes (and I will publish this in a week or so as an "official" release): - Standard EF interface - No EF:FB scenarios included in the download as scenarios evolve so quickly and there is now so many of them. - New German StuG III G versions (P01099 and P11099) with StuK 40L48 values equal to KwK 40L48 values of PzIV for the first 1500 meters. New unit, so does not affect any existing scenarios - New armored leaders for axis and allied germans too - Various fixes for found issues such as missing bitmaps added. And that's it pretty much. It will not affect any existing scenarios and can be enabled while playing stock EF scenarios. More detail in the installation instructions, here: Installation guideline (but use the download in this post instead!): https://www.theblitz.club/message_boards/showthread.php?tid=63460 Ylimaa scenario guideline: https://www.theblitz.club/message_boards/showthread.php?tid=61841 Why don't you have a good luck at the scenario once you've installed it and take the allied side. It is the more active one, and I'd like to see how it plays out. Thanks for the info and I will install the mod this PM. And take the Allied side! See you on the East Front shortly! RE: Looking for EF or WF Opponent! - Crossroads - 06-02-2013 Looking forward to it Sir! RE: Looking for EF or WF Opponent! - Kool Kat - 06-02-2013 Hey Petri: EF:FB mod + Scandinavian terrain mod successfully down loaded and installed! Very slick and non-intrusive mod interface menu! Well done! I am impressed with the forest terrain and snowy Finnish countryside! Looking forward to playing with the "new" Finnish units!
