SPMBT opponent wanted. - IainF - 01-19-2014

Hello Chaps,

I've just discovered this game and am gutted I never played it before. I've been banging away vs the AI and would like to have a crack at a PBEM.

Something smallish would be good but bigger no problem, don't mind which country/year/setting as I'm probably going to get trounced!

I can handle any number of turns at the moment.

Cheers,

Iain

I'm looking for play. Beta tester for the original SP so have much experience in a vague sort of way. I've been slow the last several years so I'm not up to date but I have played as a mentor before so winning isn't all that important. Being a FNG you see more value in a win then a loss, so I can agree to a draw unless you win. You can keep a win.
Big games are better for learning.
This guy leans in the window of a parked cab and says to the driver; "How do I get to Carnegie Hall"? The cabbie says; "Practice, practice, practice."
The basic SP consists of building your OOB, finding the enemy, engaging the enemy. Manage those 3 things and the rest will fall into place. A larger battle gives you more practice. It teaches you to fight a big battle as several connected smaller battles. The disadvantage is that it takes more time.
