We make no guarantees whatsoever that it still works. But, our leaving it in signals that we intend to support (and if necessary debug) this in future. PBEM and Standard (solo) play will still work fine, of course. RE: Head to Head Battles Thru ICQ??? - Scud - 01-28-2014 I used it about two years ago. Tried a 2 vs 2 team game that ended up me vs the other 2 when one dropped out. I won  and it was fun, but must admit my opponents were annoyed that my turn took so long (they could play their turns concurrently and I obviously couldn't, so I can't blame them). Fun, though. Biggest problem guys might have is with their firewalls, but that can be overcome by opening the proper ports.Dave RE: Head to Head Battles Thru ICQ??? - Outlaw Josey Wales - 01-28-2014 I did it a few times years ago before the Matrix version and playing the team at the same time did work. If you can do it now, that would be great because it should be that way and somebody listened and fixed the situation. Even though it was difficult with two trying to play at the same time, it was a lot of fun team or individual. |
