PB review... - TheBigRedOne - 03-19-2014 From a favorite blog I read.... https://medium.com/war-is-boring/45f4bde00ec3 RE: PB review... - Wodin - 03-20-2014 Good article..agree with everything he says. RE: PB review... - 76mm - 03-21-2014 heh, although I would reverse his classification of Red Storm and PzB as "complicated" or "simple" wargames. I think that Red Storm is much simpler, as both the interface and rules are much simpler, even if the embedded concepts are not. I don't have PzB yet, but it sounds close enough to view as similar to PzC, which I definitely don't view as a "simple" wargame, perhaps if nothing else because of the scale of the games. RE: PB review... - Stejones82 - 03-23-2014 Sorry - I found the article pretty vapid. Written by a guy who did 30 minutes research on Kursk and played the game for 20 minutes. Leaving him 10 minutes to write his article for the entire hour he put into this "project." Still on the fence regarding PzB Steve RE: PB review... - Wodin - 03-23-2014 Well I thought it did a decent job in giving a overall description of the game. His comments about command and delay may not have been necessary or even relevant for the turn based nature of the game and 30mins turns. |
