1/72 diorama - Lt Charles - 07-30-2014 I call this diorama "Election day in Tajikistan" RE: 1/72 diorama - Compass Rose - 07-30-2014 Boy, there is a ton of detail! How did you manage to do all of that without going blind??? Nice Job! RE: 1/72 diorama - Lt Charles - 07-30-2014 Hi Compass Rose, thanks for the thumbs up. new to forum, still trying to figure out how to post pictures so viewers can zoom in on detail. RE: 1/72 diorama - Compass Rose - 07-30-2014 To post pics in the forum you need to first upload your pics to your account. Select "My Files" and upload your pics. Next, when you create a new thread/post, on the bottom left of the screen you will see a "screen image". Click on that image and it will take you to your uploads screen. Just select the image(s) you want use and they get uploaded automatically into the thread/post. RE: 1/72 diorama - Lt Charles - 07-30-2014 thanks for this info. will give it a try. RE: 1/72 diorama - Cats - 07-30-2014 Wonderful pictures! Great detail! Where did you find the giant dime??? When is this supposed to be? What is the significance of "election day" ? jonny RE: 1/72 diorama - Lt Charles - 05-23-2015 Hi jonny, No background, just a title for a diorama. I think Tajikistan is east of Uzbekistan. It is hard to see in the picture, the sign on front of demolished building states that this is the “Border Line”, perhaps a feeble play on words, as it appears military forces are crossing a border and a change of government might be imminent . It is a fictitious event set in modern times, thus T-62 tanks. I enjoyed making it hope you enjoyed viewing it. Hi mate, Firstly, holding CTRL and rolling your mousewheel is a quick way to zoom in on whatever's on your monitor screen (at least it works in Win XP and Win 7). Secondly, my favourite way of posting pics in net forums is to paste them into the free Irfanview image program where they can be enlarged and shrunk and trimmed and sharpened etc, then upload them into my Photobucket account and post them into forums from there. For example here are yours which I've just done that way and saved them at 1200 pixels wide which should almost fill our monitor screens. In Blitz you have to click the yellow 'view original image' bar to see them full size..:) (EDIT- Aargh I've just noticed this thread is a year old!) |
