RE: 1914: The Grand Campaign (scenario F14-A) - Diesel - 02-04-2015 I found another player so it is closed. RE: 1914: The Grand Campaign (scenario F14-A) - Volcano Man - 02-05-2015 BTW, if you haven't started it yet then send me a PM here with your email address, and I will send you the latest version of the scenario if you want to try it out. Quite a few updates made to it. Your choice. You can certainly play the existing one too. ;) RE: 1914: The Grand Campaign (scenario F14-A) - Diesel - 02-05-2015 We just started so i think we continue our game and use the changes the next time we play. I guess there will be an update before we are finished with this one RE: 1914: The Grand Campaign (scenario F14-A) - Volcano Man - 02-06-2015 OK, that is fine. However, both sides should operate under the agreement that units will not embark into rail mode until August 27th. One problem we found was the the Allies were using rail movement to accelerate their attack into Ardennes and towards Luxembourg and this produces very a-historical results. I have since added some text to the games notes that point out this necessary house rule, for now. DO NOT do this and you will have a good and balanced game with the current scenario. However if you do this and use rail movement early to "blitz" then then it will essentially be broken. I am going to fix this in the future, of course, in future versions of the scenario and perhaps with some new features (in the long term). But in the mean time you and your opponent should communicate this agreement to each other if you want a fair game. |
