A long inactive player considering his return - burroughs - 03-18-2015 How do WWII and MBT behave when installed on either Win7 and Win8? I still seem to have my original download version of WWII, but I think I would have to buy MBT perhaps SO I also wonder if in the latest version of the game I am finally able to set rally points for retreating squads so they don't perform their insane stunts and get obliterated as a result - something which haunted me some five years ago and even more before I started playing here. RE: A long inactive player considering his return - KAreil - 03-19-2015 The Shrapnel-version are working fine, although it's best to use Windowed-Mode and Desktop-Resolution which more or less is the same as Fullscreen. And you should not install them in the default folder - Windows is messing with the files there... There is a sticky post about Win7/8 issues in their forum: http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=47171 RE: A long inactive player considering his return - Air Master - 03-25-2015 (03-19-2015, 02:56 AM)KAreil Wrote: The Shrapnel-version are working fine, although it's best to use Windowed-Mode and Desktop-Resolution which more or less is the same as Fullscreen. Works fine on Windows 7 in full screen mode. Install directly to Program Files - this is now the default path in any case. Best to buy the CD Download for both - better graphics and Op Fire filter functionality (with Basic Security). RE: A long inactive player considering his return - Weasel - 03-27-2015 8.1 works fine too, full screen windowed 1920x1080 (but it doesn't look HD). Yes you can set the single rally point to where you like now. RE: A long inactive player considering his return - burroughs - 03-28-2015 Thanks guys. |
