Bischofsberg - jonnymacbrown - 08-29-2015 I'm in the middle of EP 14 scenario 1914_0826_01s: The Rout of Samsonov's Right Wing This is a great little 7 turn scenario that will give anyone a good idea about how 2nd Army fell apart. The Russian position is precarious but not hopeless. To get in the mood here is a short home movie from 1936 filmed at the Tannenberg Memorial/resort. It shows the lakes and woods of the region, as well as the memorial and lakeside resort. jonny http://www.ushmm.org/online/film/display/detail.php?file_num=5064 RE: Bischofsberg - Volcano Man - 08-29-2015 (08-29-2015, 04:47 AM)jonnymacbrown Wrote: I'm in the middle of EP 14 scenario 1914_0826_01s: The Rout of Samsonov's Right Wing Not to sound biased or anything, ...but I had a blast playing that scenario and the full Tannenberg with tquinn. Those were some chaotic yet fun battles. The full Tannenberg battle has to be one of my personal favorites to play either side. There is something fun in trying to salvage your situation as Russians and trying to smash through as Germans. Thanks for the link. |
