Three Hard/Soft Values? - redboot - 11-23-2015 Katusha Rockets in one scenario have three hard and soft target values. (8/4/8 and 44/4/8 respectively.) I assumed that meant they had a minimum and maximum range, but couldn't verify in the manual. Is that the case? RE: Three Hard/Soft Values? - redboot - 11-23-2015 NM. I answered my own question (in the affirmative for those interested). RE: Three Hard/Soft Values? - ComradeP - 11-23-2015 This change was made after Moscow '42 was released, upon discovering that units could have minimum and maximum ranges in PzC. Katyusha's used to be a bit better than 152mm howitzers, but not much, but now they're very powerful at the cost of having a minimum range. I believe Guards Mortar locations in the scenarios were not actually changed afterwards, so there are some situations where the Katyusha's need to relocate after 1 or 2 turns due to being too close to the frontline. |
