PBNormandy.map with small font location names - Strela - 01-19-2016

Hi All,

As the header says we're including small font location names on the map as requested.

These work well, particularly with the various 'small terrain' mods. Please back up your original PBNormandy.map before unzipping the new version.

Here is a before and after shot with 'Dickies Bridge' and 'le Beny-Bocage' at the smallest font size;

The link doesn't seem to work for me. It says it's a zip file but all I get is an odd collection of stuff. No actual map file or whatever. What's meant to be in there? Can you check it please, David?

I'm not certain what you're seeing. I just tested the link and it downloads the map file which is in a zip.

Strela, would it be possible to remove the compass points (N-S-W-E) for the 100% zoom level, just like for the 50% zoom level for which its already removed ?

I can remove the red "compass" graphic myselfe but not the "N-S-W-E" stuff around it.
Because we all know that up=north i think its not needed and just blocks the view.

Could you release a version that also removes the compass points (N-S-W-E) for the 100% zoom level please ?

It's hard coded - I don't have access to it...
