Copying map images - jonnymacbrown - 04-22-2016 How do I copy a map image from a game and turn it into a jpg file? Thanx jonny RE: Copying map images - Strela - 04-22-2016 (04-22-2016, 06:56 AM)jonnymacbrown Wrote: How do I copy a map image from a game and turn it into a jpg file? Thanx jonny There is a snapshot function under the file menu that will make a BMP of the map in the current scenario. You can then use a program like Paint to then convert the BMP file to a JPG file. If you want a clean map (i.e. no units), use the scenario editor to create a scenario with the map you want and don't place any units on it. You can then load this new scenario in game and use the snapshot function to create your clean map. Hope that helps. David RE: Copying map images - Compass Rose - 04-22-2016 This thread should help you through it, too. https://www.theblitz.club/message_boards/showthread.php?tid=56475 RE: Copying map images - Mr Grumpy - 04-23-2016 I also use the PC tool "print screen" which on my laptop keyboard is shown as "prt sc" to take a screen shot of anything that is displayed on my PC, you can then use the default paint program to crop the image add arrows and text and then save the file as a .jpeg to be emailed or placed in a post.
