Touch Screen - Stejones82 - 04-23-2016 Greetings all, I am in the market for a new laptop. Many PC style laptops come with touch screen interfaces. Does anybody use one of these? Seems like I would not, but who knows? Does the touch screen work with Tiller games like Squad Battles? RE: Touch Screen - Jeff Conner - 04-23-2016 I have been a bit curious about this too and when I bought a new laptop last year, stayed away from the touch screen models. RE: Touch Screen - Compass Rose - 04-23-2016 I too, don't know anything about them and I also don't know anyone who owns one. I ordered a custom made note book from HP about 1.5 years ago that came with Win7 Pro. I maxed out the processor and the memory. I also got it with a back lit keyboard, which I really love. I also have a 17.3 inch screen, which is really nice. RE: Touch Screen - Richie61 - 04-24-2016 I have used Tom's Guide in the pass a lot for tech and reviews. Interesting read on touch screens. http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/dont-buy-a-touch-screen-laptop IMHO, Toshiba makes the best LT's. We have 3 of them now. The war department (Wife) has a Toshiba Satellite w/ a 17.3" screen, Win10 (was 7), 16 GM RAM and Intel® Core i7. It's about 3 years old and it's AWESOME. She wants a newer one and I want her old LT :) |
