How do you save a campaign battle? - Pinetree - 01-09-2017 I've looked through the documentation but I can't find it anywhere. How do you save a battle from a campaign? I'm playing the first scenario in the 4/7 Dragoons campaign and it won't let me save during a turn. I have auto save on which will save at the end of my turn but only after I've played through the AI's turn and then I'd have to play it again when I resume. I've been forced to "Save As" the battle as a normal battle and then renaming it as the campaign.btc (Which seems to work btw). RE: How do you save a campaign battle? - phoenix - 01-09-2017 You can't save campaigns at will, whenever, I believe - making them a little more tense, I think, since you can't easily re-do moves from saves. But the game is meant to save your progress automatically when you exit. It then picks up automatically when you choose the 'continue' campaign option. Is this not working, do you mean? Peter RE: How do you save a campaign battle? - Pinetree - 01-09-2017 OK. It might not be working correctly then. I was definitely further along in the turn when I exited than when I resumed. In fact It was a full half turn behind. I had already saved the game as a normal battle and then I quit straight after so I was able to compare. Might it be a conflict with autosaves? I did have that option enabled. What a crock, am I the only one this is happening to?
