winSPWW2 manual? - Opti - 04-08-2017 Hi, I have never before played any SP game, and winSPWW2 is my first. I noticed that in the installation folder there is a manual, in which , not counting the tutorial section which is fairly poor, there are no actual explanations of the game mechanics? Is there somewhere a proper manual or am I missing something? Also, is SP geared towards MP or SP? I mostly play SP so I was wondering is AI competent? Thanks for any help 
RE: winSPWW2 manual? - Weasel - 04-08-2017 Hi and welcome. The manual can be found in the "game options" screen when you first launch the game and is HTML based; it does a good job of explaining the game. There are also other documents posted here in the 'sticky' section that players have put together to help other players out. SP can be played both MP and SP. It is best, IMO, as MP but other players would disagree and I can only say that you would have to try against the AI and against a human and see which you prefer. The AI is ok, but not great; quite often you will see it put one unit after another into the same hex with the same result, they die. The AI does better on defence but a human will be your best opponent for causing you a headache. RE: winSPWW2 manual? - Opti - 04-08-2017 Yeah I found that manual, it doesn't actually go into game mechanics in detail? Or have I missed it somehow? I found online the manaul for the Steel Panthers World at War (the original remake I assume) and it's manual actually goes into detail about what every stat is and how the mechanics work, but I assume winSPWW2 does some stuff differently.
