just a Q. - RedDevil - 04-22-2017 Do you "seasoned" fellows rally (clear suppression) as you go through the map (local firefights) or do you start with unit A0 and "next unit" thru your OOB and rally everyone up .. then go to the firefights? Just curious Dev RE: just a Q. - SaSTrooP - 04-22-2017 Mostly local firefights. Units going into assault are first to rally, but AFTER a at least brief firefight. In short: I allow my formations to fight in suppressed mode for a moment in order to more or less guarantee key units will reorganize and move forward to strike. RE: just a Q. - Weasel - 04-22-2017 I rally at the fire fight first. My A0 is normally in the rear with the gear. RE: just a Q. - RedDevil - 04-22-2017 I have swapped between the 2 methods while playing a solo campaign (god forbid) LOL! Like the AI can even compete... but, when you're 3-4 years out of playing.. IE: RUSTY AS sheeit.. one has to take the AI to the zoo (so to speak) and relearn things before jumping into a combat with a real person :) I swap my A0 unit for an armor unit and get right up front to rally the lads I prefer 1950's combat with the US Army VS the Commies of the decade (no offense to the Russians, really!) it's just a prime time of equality among forces and they get better quicker.. IMO. Dev |
