EF.EXE program - Oberst - 09-12-2017 Replaying a turn from an opponent and part way through the program is stopping and I am getting the message that the EF.EXE program has stopped working and that Windows is looking into it. Have tried reload several times but continue to get same problem. Anyone ever encounter this or have a solution as to what needs to be done to correct? Gil, I had this happen before quite a while ago. I seem to remember the file was getting corrupted during email. I think having it zipped fixed the problem. If your opponent is not zipping the file that could be the problem. If that doesn't work make sure you both have the same map and OOB files and game versions. That's a good call Von Earl Gil, if your EF game indeed opens any other file, but not that one, I'd ask your opponent to send the file over again as VE suggested. If you can't open anything else either, then there might be a larger issue at hand. |
