First Multiplayer Game Request - pokeytrev - 09-30-2018

Until now, I have been playing against the AI and would like to play against a human player with PBEM. I am not very good, so I am looking to play someone as more of a learning experience rather than being super competitive. I fully expect to lose, but this is a good first step. More than anything, I just want to have a good time playing someone who doesn't mind playing a newbie.

I want to play a scenario on one of the following games: Stalingrad '42, Kharkov '43, or Moscow '42. Any campaign size, and I would like to play as the Germans if possible.

Good for you to take the leap from playing the AI to a human opponent, I hope you enjoy the experience.

If you can cope with the learning curve then these game really come alive when playing a human opponent, my advice would be to play smaller scenarios until you get up to speed.  Wink

Hi pokeytrev,

I've got all three of the games you list, and am also one who hasn't played a lot.  I'd agree with the other poster that perhaps a mid to smaller sized scenario would be good to begin with.  Contact me if you would like to get something started.

Thanks! Yeah, I decided to take the plunge and play against human opponents. Also, great advice. I wouldn't want to go in over my head with a scenario I can't finish.  Smile

Indeed, there will enough to concentrate on without drowning in units, also if you make a really silly mistake you don't have to live with it for mass of turns, you can finish a smaller scenario quickly and start again a bit wiser.  Wink
