Difference between PzC and 1914 games - The KrijnMinister - 10-07-2018 I am interested in purchasing and playing the France 1914 game. Is anyone able to highlight the main differences in the flow of the game on both a tactical and strategic level when compared with PzC? Thanks a bunch RE: Difference between PzC and 1914 games - Xaver - 10-07-2018 There is this thread about diferences between series expect it help you https://www.theblitz.club/message_boards/showthread.php?tid=68369 RE: Difference between PzC and 1914 games - Mr Grumpy - 10-07-2018 I would highlight the PzC tactic of stacking a number of units in a hex to use their combined firepower to disrupt a defender is the biggest vice PzC players can carry over into FWWC, in PzC there is no real negative to stacking multiple units in a hex but in FWWC you will suffer huge amounts of casualties from defensive fire and artillery (see explanation in my article). In FWWC you will need to use field gun and MG units to wear a unit down using ranged fire before you think about an assault so attacking does require more planning/patience than PzC which I think is the greatest hurdle to PzC players enjoying FWWC, if you are a very impatient person then you might find FWWC titles a tad frustrating. So the two series look very similar but the devil is in the detail, if you are prepared to slightly recalibrate your playing styles then playing the FWWC series will be as much fun as PzC. We are still at the testing stage, I can't give you any time scale of when the title will be completed. You are losing traditions... where is our beloved "when its done" or that inmortal classic "soon" Doing a blind shot over FWW3 i imagine i can remove the pipe from the mouth of an Austro-hungarian soldier and at same time hit the vodka bottle of a rusian soldier and see them fighting in Galitzia RE: Difference between PzC and 1914 games - Al - 10-09-2018 (10-09-2018, 03:48 AM)Mr Grumpy Wrote:(10-08-2018, 04:50 AM)Al Wrote: While we're on the subject - any news on the next FWWC?
