The Khe San hill fights for instance. Tour of Duty is more focused on the battles fought by the Army - Central Highlands, (but has marine scenarios too). The game now includes the house to house series which references a text regarding the Tet Offensive. There are classic battles found in both titles. I tend to enjoy Vietnam as it has that early 60s Cold War feel to it and has scenarios for the some of the first engagements of the war. I think both are essential for a complete retrospective of the war though. I recently watched Ken Burns Vietnam doc and every battle in that I could find a scenario for in either one of the two games. If you ever want to Play by Email - send me a game! |
