Unit Cards Question - 1/118e? - pokeytrev - 01-25-2020 I understand how to look into organization and seeing who belongs to which leader, but one thin I don't quite understand is how to interpret the unit cards fully. In the link below, you will see some brigades listed as 1/118e, 2/118e, and 3/118e. Obviously these units are related at another level, but the meaning of 1/118e confused me. What does the 1 stand for, and what does the 118e stand for? http://www.johntillersoftware.com/NapoleonicBattles/WellingtonWar/WPW-2.png RE: Unit Cards Question - 1/118e? - lecrop - 01-25-2020 Battalion number/Regiment number For example 1/118e is the first battalion of the 118e regiment of the 1er brigade of the 8e Division of the Army of Portugal RE: Unit Cards Question - 1/118e? - pokeytrev - 01-26-2020 (01-25-2020, 04:01 PM)lecrop Wrote: Battalion number/Regiment numberThank you! |
