Delayed releases - CountryBoy - 02-01-2020 Can scheduled releases be delayed indefinitely? I have some units which were meant to be released 12 or something turns ago but they have been delayed. Will they ever be released? Thanks. RE: Delayed releases - Mr Grumpy - 02-01-2020 Units can be released automatically by being given a 100% chance of release but they can also be given a percentage chance to release and this can be anything from 1 to 99%, so depending on that percentage and your luck with the "dice roll" they may or may not be a delay. With a delay of 12 moves I would imagine the release percentage for those units maybe 20% or less. If you want to know what the percentage chance actually is then open the scenario without FOW and check out the releases. Of course in some scenarios units can be fixed with no release but then they will not show up in the release dialogue box. RE: Delayed releases - ComradeP - 02-02-2020 Formations can have a release percentage of 0%, but a T release state in which case they'll show up up in the releases dialog box. All units belonging to the formation mentioned in the dialog box will then be released when a unit spots an enemy unit at the beginning of a friendly turn or is directly fired at/assaulted by an enemy unit. RE: Delayed releases - Mr Grumpy - 02-02-2020 Yes of course! Thanks for pointing out the T release situation. RE: Delayed releases - CountryBoy - 02-02-2020 Great, thanks guys. |
