Hello

I'm looking your mod WW2 and i think i found an issue not a trouble for the game but for the coheance of the stuff

in Weapons and loads data you use a special car '×' cross not 'x' x (see 75×350mm R Can) and × is coded in unicode "C3 97" not an ansi or ascii representation.
It's a touble for me with my own tools to check some existance of vehicule / weapons / loads and i think it's a good thing to make things in ascii compatible (8bit)

Still present if you would some explain

Hmm, not sure what you refer, I don't edit these in anything but the game editor, since sometimes I have tried and crashed the data table. I just use the game editor, and it works fine in the game? To change any of that in the editor, I have to remove that load from any weapon that uses it to change it!

if you use sqdata i think when you type new load or weapon name you use something special for × instead x



take carefuly a look at this and you see there is a diference between the 2 lines



  • 12  4  1  0 6    0 79 79 -1 0 0 11.43x23mm ACP
  •   7  5  6  0 6    0 44 44 -1 0 0 11×59mmR Gras


see carefuly same in sqdata line in attached picture




i change the char × in notepad++ in the 3 files without trouble, but i think if some one create scn with theese data it's too late to correct this. and the trouble stay




perfectly it's better to use same notation for example if you make find with x you dont find the data same with space around the x as they exist in aotr data.




i just say that to improve the mod not to some critic





if you give me by pm your email i can send to you my 3 dat files and continue this discution.
