The CSEF game engine (and editors) is fully up to date, on a par with the latest CSVN EXE. We even have a handful of working scenarios already. But there is still a ton of content (maps, OOBs, scenarios, graphics, etc.) that needs to be created, not to mention CSEE/SAI scripting and playtesting the scenarios. EF III? Not this year, but maybe sometime next year. You can at least be reassured that after CSVN (and its DLC, also the CSME 3.0 update), CSEF will be our next full game release.
