Password Recovery - jeffro - 07-07-2023 Is there any way I can recover a password which it appears I have forgotten? Its only Turn 2 but I do feel like a giant moron... RE: Password Recovery - krmiller - 07-07-2023 You can open the game file with a text editor, it will be encrypted but should look something like this for a PzC file ----- PEMX Header ----- Jr4G v? hq 8Ygf0 v-Q sA This is from an El Alamien and the OOB lists the allies first. The second line is the password for the Allied player, line 3 is the Axis, it is encrypted but you can see how many letters are in it so that might help you remember. I have a file called game passwords where I put my pbem passwords when I start a game as some of my opponents are slow to return files, something I don't have a problem with but at my age my short term memory is not what it used to be. |
