New Computer And CS Will Not Run - Hawk Kriegsman - 08-11-2024 Hello,  Had to get a new computer this weekend.  Reinstalled CS off the Matrix website and the update.  None of the exe's will run.  This is the error message: "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.  Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail." I have no clue what this means.  My OS is Microsoft Windows 11. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you still have the 2.01 version somewhere on your rig, you will have to move it to a neutral folder before you update your 2.30 CSME with the new upgrade! The installer sees the 2.01 version and doesn't want to update the 2.30 version. It's crazy I know!! RE: New Computer And CS Will Not Run - Outlaw Josey Wales - 08-12-2024 It was 2.30. Was trying to update to 2.31 and then 2.31.02. I will see what I can find.
