Hi guys just started my first couple of games and will be joining the ladder shortly so in response to the leaders request I though I better start some chat. What I'm interested in is whether people here think that the leaders in the game have enough effect I know they are all important in rallying troops but for me the ACW was more than any other conflict a war about personalities could not more be done to reflect this in the game.

I think that the Historical Leader personality as been replaced by the General in charge.
That is you the one in command of the Army.

I have found that each player I have played has a different style of play.
Some play carefully, some all out attack others use long range guns.
You have Generals that will only defend and the ones that are always at you flank in force.

So the Leaders in the game are your Generals you are the one giving the personality to the Battle.
