Autumn Mist Report
Major Milton of the 110th Infantry Regiment from the 28th Infantry Division is reported as KIA in heavy fighting in the Schnee Eiffel region east of Winterspelt.His regiment has been involved in the thick of fighting since early this morning it what now appears to be a full scale German offensive.The Major was leading his troops in what at times was hand to hand combat thru the woods with tremendous artillery exchanges from both sides.
