Recon Spotting question

Losing a Sheridan instead of a scout squad would not have been a good option if I was in the lead "tank". As an interesting note, I rode in the Sheridan for two reasons: 1) it was a more stable map reading platform than the 113 (this was before the days of GPS) and I trusted my scouts to lead the way well. 2) My Sheridan crew happened to be top gun in the Troop. We WERE promised a target rich environment, if the baloon went up. (2/11 ACR, Bad Kissingen, on the border.)
