I think that 99.9% of CM gamers would have been much happier with an updated version of CM1, better graphics, a few more fancy do dads here and there and everyone would have been happy......

Agreed.....after playing games like Crysis, CoH and MTW2 on max detail i'm starting to realize just how badly dated the graphics engine for the CMx1 games is......luckily the gameplay makes up for that but i do think just a simple graphics engine update would have been the way to go for now. :(

The graphics in CMSF is it's one bright spot.
