Here is a third scen, with the OOB successfully recoded to JTCS unit codes.
This is the first of a series of Java campaign scens. Here was the first missed opportunity for the Dutch to have "slowed" the initial Japanese breakout from the northeasternmost beach head area.
...it's a short, sharp one...
The Pamarajan Bridge
viz:
1 March, 1942
North of Pamarajan, Java: Landing in the dark hours of early
March 1st, on the northeastern point of the island of Java, at
Merak, Japanese LtGen Maruyama's 2nd Division began it's dash
eastward to capture the bridges on the Ulong River. After blowing
through the thinly dispersed screening forces the Allies had
deployed on the coast, by daylight, the Japanese 2nd Recon Regiment
raced through Serang toward the River. North of Pamarajan, the
Dutch Rangkasbitung Defense Force, under Cpt List, prepared to
blow the Pamarajan Bridge. Already demoralized, the Allied troops
knew that it must be done in a hurry, but the rain and general
disorganization had made it difficult even to get men to the
bridge. Just as they arrived, so did Japanese Lt Shiraishi's
Left Advance Group of the 2nd Recon Regiment.
