Problem setting global op fire

Good day eh
Slight issue. Haven't played in a couple of months and just started a new game. When I start a pbem I like to set global op fire. Click on a empty hex, then hit " d " on the keyboard. Been doing this for years. Well for some reason it doesn't work now. Tried a different scenario, searched this forum, used caps lock, tried other magical solutions, and I get nothing.... hmmmmm. Can't figure it out

Thanks this is quite bizarre
Tried that and all it did was highlight a unit. Tried a few more times and it worked. I am thinking it might actually be my keyboard. Oh well, works for now, thanks. I'll play my turn and see what happens
