TAKE KHARKOV! Team Game Challenge
MikeC and I are looking for 2 experienced and committed players to join us for two Kharkov ’43 team games. The games centre around the siege of Kharkov. Two scenarios allow both the Russians and the Germans the opportunity to defend and take Kharkov.
These are not monster campaign scenarios. We selected large scenarios, not campaign scenarios, so that each the player would get a significant but manageable sized force where their portion of the turn can be completed quickly (~1 hour). In “#0213_01_Fall of Kharkov – Act I : Liberation” the Russian players get a Army to control while the German players get a corps each. In “#0306_02_The SS Recapture Kharkov - Act II: Conquest” the Russian players each get a Front to command while the Germans each get an Army.
The number of turns gives some flexibility. The shorter first scenario allows teams to get used to each other and then decide if they want to play the second scenario. The second scenario offers more of a commitment.
One note. I want to play Russian, MikeC will take either side, so there are 2 German and 1 Russian positions available. Contact hmcsrosthern --~at~-- gmail.com.
