Thanks for the info, its is so long since I have played scenarios with AT ditch's I just could not remember the mechanics of how they worked.
Anyway thanks for accessing the C40 notes, I got an answer back from Ed that mirrored the info you posted from the notes, Ed added the comments about looking after the engineers after I played the C40 campaign and assumed engineers could retreat into mine hex's (unlike normal units) only to see one of my units destroyed when it turns out they cannot!!
