What is the difference between Normal and GOLD version?
I have some PzCamp games for more than a decade.
Recently got back to them but noticed that there are some GOLD versions.
What's the difference?
Will I be able to play PBEM with Normal version?

The primary difference is an improvement in graphics but there are also other fixes and alterations. As virtually everyone now uses the Gold versions it is unlikely that you will find many PBEM opponents without updating your games. I presume all your games were purchased via HPS, so you would now need the JTS versions. If you contact JTS support they may have some suggestions regarding your options.
