Two axis majors would really blow right about now, so the pressure is on for the Dust and VQ. Come on Allies!

Deturk and I have finished our game. The Ethiopians were too slow to make it to the top of the pass and ran out of turns before they could secure all of the VPs/ reach the exit. The Italians played a great defense leading to an Allied minor loss.

RE: World in Flames Redux
Final Round 2 results:
Allies win Round 2, 54 points to 36. The three minors cost the axis dearly. This puts the allies up 90 points to 68 for the axis after two rounds.
Stay tuned for your Round 3 assignments while John and I confer. I'm giving him the choice of scenarios to ensure fairness, though he thinks he might have picked the last one.
If anyone wants to suggest scenarios, feel free. Early ones are hard. Not too many and they're all a bit lopsided.

RE: World in Flames Redux
As of right now the Axis have taken the lead over the allies thanks to my lousy play and an Allied player going missing. Nim8or has not responded to any emails and his opponent feels it's unfair to have to rush through to get done even if the guy shows up. I have to agree. So, the allies could sure use a sub going forward. Our bench is empty.
Congrats to Deturk for superior play. Cleaned my clock.

Ugh, I've losted a major to Colonel Slack-Goodspeed. I'm now 0-4. The bad news is the allied generals are beginning to talk mutiny. The good news, though, is the axis generals LOVE me!
Congrats to the Colonel. Time for a nap.

RE: World in Flames Redux
Dave,
Napoleon was once asked how good his generals were, for the upcoming campaign. He replied, "I don't know, they have never lost."
"It's not how far you fall but how high you bounce back."
But, how can you bounce back from a splat?
