I have only read parts of those books, but they are well reviewed and received. The only caviat with Killer Angels would be that it is based largely on Longstreet's memoirs and the interpretation slightly skewed as a result.

It's funny though, my wife read both and I looked at Killer Angels and flipped through it. Amazingly, the screenplay for Gettysburg is almost VERBATIM from the book! :rolleyes:

As i said Thor no offence to you US members just going by a history prog etc.You guys will have much more and be more accurate.Dont get me wrong i loved the film though.
