Game crashing to desktop problem solved!

Guys,

Some of you may remember that I have been unable to play Divided Ground for a long time, due to a mysterious crash to desktop whenever I try to start a scenario. I know that others have experienced the same problem with West Front. Lots of exotic remedies have been tried and failed, and lots of theories have been put forward to explain the crash, none of which have really made any sense.

Well, after a long overdue defrag over the weekend (it took over 24 hours, due the huge size of my Hard Drive), I decided to try DG again. To my shock, the thing actually worked!

I would suggest that anyone who is experiencing this crash problem should immediately defragment their hard drive. It may work for you too.
