RE: Team/Host/Caller
Assuming you are talking about the HPS games, which I think call the features what you are calling them, then on a network it is fairly easy to connect them. Over the Internet, you need to know what IP address your router is using, if there is one, for the host side of things, so the caller can get in.
Actually, just reread your message and you mention Modem Host/Caller, which I think is in the older Battleground games. I played that way a few times, and it is simpler to connect - just set one as the host, give the other player the number to call, and he calls in and joins the game.
It isn't as fast as Internet but for the games it works pretty well. The big advantage of the newer Internet mode is that multiple players can join in, modem is limited to just one player joining you.
