Maintenance Unit

Maintenance Unit
I am working on an EF scenario which requires the Russians to remove wrecks from a rail line. I could only find empty Maintenance Unit Trucks and no Maintenance Unit to load into the truck. With that, I just placed the Empty truck in the wreck hex, and started the scenario to see what would happen. Sure enough, the empty Maintenance Unit Truck will clear the wrecks with out any other units in the hex, hummmm. This is unlike the German Werkstat unit, which has both the truck and the physical unit, the Russians do not. The game manual makes reference to a Maintenance platoon but I could only find the empty truck. So the long and short of this post is that an empty Russian Maintenance Unit Truck, alone, can clear wrecks.

Keep in mind that the units are intended as an introductory element. If they were to be well received, or used, they would be expanded/completed for the various armies.

It is nice to see you using them.

RE: Maintenance Unit
Thanks for your input Jason :) I think this unit is very useful and should stay :) Yes I like to put as many crimps in a scenario as possible :)
