Yup, cats were the curse of all board wargamers, as we know if you place anything on a table and stare at it your cat will want to sit on it !!!!

Not sure how many here play board wargames, but current titles I play, and very much recommend, are:

-MMP: A Victory Lost
-GMT: Roads to Leningrad/Moscow
-GMT: France 40
-GMT: Ukraine 43

All have VASSAL modules for the computer and are great operational depictions of specific campaigns. Scales range from company/battalion counters in Roads to Leningrad/Moscow to division counters in the others.

i really enjoy Catan, as well as (Junta) the problem for me with board games is that the more complex the board games get, the less likely and more difficult it is to find opponents.
